There are many things to be careful about when handling mRNA vaccines, but I'm really glad that they are effective. In Japan, it seems that vaccination for children (5 to 11 years old) will start from February next year, and I hope that the same effect will be obtained.
On the other hand, the government policy is to allow simultaneous use of heterologous vaccines at one venue, and the following vaccines will be distributed in Japan in the future.
・Pfizer vaccine (12 years old and over)
・Pfizer vaccine ( 5-11 years old )
・Takeda / Moderna vaccine (12 years old and over)
・AstraZeneca vaccine (in principle, over 40 years old)
I think the burden of the vaccination site will be even bigger.
As for the vaccine for children ( 5 to 11 years old ) , the one currently under application for pharmaceutical affairs in Japan is from Pfizer, and the materials released by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare are as follows.
